Vettaikaran Tamil Film Plot :
Vettaikkaaran (Tamil: வேட்டைக்காரன்) is a forthcoming Tamil feature film directed by débutante film director Babu Sivan. The film is produced by M. Balasubramanian and B. Gurunath Meiyappan. The film will star Vijay and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles. The film's background score and soundtrack will be composed by Vijay Antony while Gopinath will be the film's main cinematographer and V. T. Vijayan as the film's editor. The film was launched in February 2009 and the shooting for the film commenced the following month.

But this time, the actor has made it clear that he shouldn’t stumble at any situation for his political dreams have been dumped down as of now. The actor has completed shooting for ‘Vettaikaaran’ and producers are planning to release the film in December. According to the recent decisions made by Tamil Film Producers Council, films of A-stream stars with big budget should be released only on festive seasons.
Appositely, the next option of releasing date left in schedule is ‘Christmas’. irected by Babu Sivan, a former associate of Dharani, the film is being produced by AVM Balasubramanian and B Gurunath Meiyappan for AVM.

The film had the biggest deal as Sun Pictures have acquired the rights with a big record price afforded on AVM Productions.

Musical score by Vijay Antony has topped the charts with almost all the songs turning to be a good hit. The film has Tollywood hottie Anushka starrng opposite Vijay in the role of medical college student.

Skeleton Crew Hollywood Movie Review :
I am not a movie critic just a normal person that likes good movies. This movie is really really bad, the acting is bad the plot is bad and also the story line. They tried to get people attention showing some nude scenes but even those scenes are bad. This movie it's about a Crew that is making a movie, about a crazy Doctor that torture and murder patients on a mental institution.

The movie they shooting sucks apparently in real life; then the director goes nuts after finding some real films that were made by the actual doctor that kills all that people, then the movie director becomes a killer just like the dead crazy doctor and his crew becomes part of a new movie. It has some gore and bloody scenes but they are not really well done. Just don't waste your time watching this movie.

The film opens up on a dark stormy night when a young couple get in to a terrible crash. The girl goes for help at a mental institution since it’s the first place she sees. They take her in, the doctors care for her and her boyfriend, but she is stuck there overnight. In the morning a bus will come and she will be able to go back in to town. Dr. Andersson (Yoken) is very firm about no one walking around the halls though. He claims it is because there are murderers and rapists here, but when she finds her boyfriend, bloody and tortured, she learns that her safety is the furthest thing from the doctor’s mind. Now she is on the hit list who many innocent patients have already been crossed off of. And….Cut! The camera pulls out and a film set is revealed. There have been a number of technical errors while shooting and soon the director, Steven (Porter), begins noticing more and more problems. He complains that what he see’s is simply not real enough.

The Misfortunates Movie Review :
I attended the North American Premiere of "The Misfortunates" at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival. Director Felix van Groeningen introduced the film with a few caveats about the drunkenness and debauchery to come. He was correct. The film is filled with humor and pathos, presenting some painfully brutal characterizations of life in Belgium for a 13-year-old boy living in a house of alcoholics. Equal parts comedy and tragedy, "The Misfortunates" can be painful to watch at times but the payoff is worth it. Shot cinema verité style, the artful use of color and texture combined with copious amounts of bawdy humor make this film an audience favorite.

Looking to grow up amid the fumes, vomit and stench of stale beer is 13-year-old Gunther (Kenneth Vanbaeden), the son of Marcel (De Graeve). As in the novel, this narrator is more of an observer than an active participant as he tries to discover what being family means -- even if his relatives make the Beverly Hillbillies look well-adjusted.

Triggering this search is a crisis in the boy's life some 14 years on, when Gunther, now an aspiring novelist (Valentijn Dhaenens), is about to become a father himself. Pic slides smoothly between the late '80s and early 2000s, and the narrative jumble is nimbly edited by Nico Leunen.
Van Groeningen uses an anecdotal, vignettish approach that underlines Gunther's search for connecting themes, rather than a desire to paint psychologically refined portraits of characters who are anything but. The director also applies this to the visuals, which effortlessly mix a variety of styles, suggesting the effects of hindsight and memory.

Ace d.p. Ruben Impens fully exploits the possibilities of his Red One digital camera, evoking everything from saturated film stock to playful black-and-white to crystalline contempo lensing.



Like the novel, "The Misfortunates" starts out as an extremely lowbrow comedy (highlights include several variations on beer-drinking contests) but morphs into a bittersweet meditation on whether familial love and pride are enough to sustain a proper upbringing.
Thesping is appropriately brawny, with De Graeve's loose-canon father emotionally anchoring the picture; only legit vet De Bal seems out of her depth. Production and costume design are spot-on, and Jef Neve's score nicely enhances the various moods.

Pic's international moniker replaces the equally awkward earlier translation "The Alasness of Things," which was a closer approximation of the novel's original title.

Under the Mountain Film Review :
I attended the North American Premiere of "Under the Mountain" at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival. The film is a love song to New Zealand's volcanoes. Jonathan King's fantasy tale is "Lord of the Rings" meets "Alien" -- it may be a bit scary for younger kids, though.
Sam Neill does a star turn here as an aging wizard-like Fagan. Only he has the knowledge to help save the world from the evil Gargantua. But it's up to teenage twins Theo and Rachel (young newcomers Tom Cameron and Sophie McBride) to wield the power. The charming kids steal the show here and couldn't be more engaging. The multi-layered story more than held my interest -- there's plenty here for adults and youth alike. Production values are stellar with mind-boggling visual and special effects, and "Under the Mountain" boasts one of the best scores I've heard in a long time. The lush cinematography amounts to a New Zealand travelogue.

The film is dazzling and puts many others of its ilk to shame. "Under the Mountain" should do well among family audiences.

How can you not be excited to see Under the Mountain? Besides being directed by Jonathan King, the madman behind the classic Black Sheep, is stars the genre vet Sam Neill, who also toplines Lionsgate's forthcoming Daybreakers (also premiering at theToronto International Film Festival ). Away We Go Hollywood Movie Review :
i just got back from a pre-screening of this in Dallas, and i must say i really enjoyed it. it seems like the whole audience enjoyed it as well, the theatre was often filled with laughter throughout this wonderful film.

i'm a fan of Sam Mendes' work, and his work excelled here in the realm of comedy. John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph shared great chemistry as a couple expecting their first child and trying to decide where to settle down and raise their family. it's a bit of a coming-of- age story about people who should have already come-of-age, as we travel across the country along with them meeting quirky parents, friends, and old schoolmates.


it's not all laughs, though. there are plenty of serious and introspective moments and my hat is off to Ms. Rudolph, generally known for her skills in comedy, for adding fine dramatic moments to her character. in the end, this movie doesn't offer any solutions to life's quirks, but it looks at them and even celebrates them.

it's not Mendes' best film, but it's a very enjoyable film with a great cast and lots of laughs, and should appeal to a pretty wide audience. it's a breath of fresh air from all of the Hollywood flash and crap that will be slopped across theater screens this summer. go see it!
