Full Movie Review/Preview:"Preethi Nee Shaswathana. This one has composer Kalyan providing the notes. He has used the most prominent names in the industry.Let’s check out his offering.
‘Obba huduguna manasu’. The hit singing jodi Sonu n Shreya (who also happen to be personal favs!) team up for this. WHen they did it for the first time in ‘Mungaru Male’ , Kannada music lovers were in a trance. Now they repeat the magic in PNS. Excellent vocals by both. Sonu puts his heart n soul into every line. Shreya follows suit. The music is lovely. So the first number’s definitely is a good catch.
Next in line is ‘Entha Chandahudugi’. Sung by the maestro S.P.Balasubramaniam. He has mesmerised music liseners in Hindi,Telugu,Tamil,Malyalam n Kannada for decades. Having immortalised some songs n made the composers feel he’s their lucky charm,SPB continues to entrall. His voice doesnt seem to ve lost its youthful vigour. He is full of energy in this track.Music however disappoints cos its a run-of-the-mill kind.
‘Hothottu Munchene’ which has been born in Shaan’s n Sunidhi Chauhan’s voice. Shaan’s kannada isnt sounding very natural. Sunidhi sounds very different.Tune is mediocre. Its a kind of laid back song with singers tryin to infuse life into it.KJ Yesudas does the vocals in ‘Attamele Kaneerige’ . Its deep melancholy. SLow n heavy,it trudges along. The snger’s voice doesnt defy gravity too. Well sung.
‘Nooru nooru premigalalli’ by Udit Narayan and Harini. Again , a very common kind of tune. HArini’s voice had a good range n Udit is up to the mark. 4/10
‘Yaavudo preethiya kogile’ by Abhijith and Shreya Ghoshal provides somethin to smile again. Nice tune.Sung melodiously. Instrumentals arent that great but they do enough for the intended music.Shruthi n Kunal Ganjawala sing ‘Railu railu’. Sounds of trains, the kind of train songs where everyone ’s gotta be singing with the hero/heroine. Music is assertive n energetic. But not very fresh stuff. Singers seem to ve done justice to it.
‘Attamele kanneerige’ again, this time in Chitra’s voice. Composers love to give her melancholies.Remember ‘Raat hamari toh’ fromthe film ‘Parineeta’? Well, she knows how to handle such numbers by givin well-placed stress and weight on the notes.
That’s it. ‘Preethi Nee Shashwathana’ can boast of havin used the best talent in terms of singers.Sonu,Shreya,Kunal,Shaan,Sunidhi….they r all part of this album. U cud well get ur copy it if ur a fan who goes for every track these crooners sing! Otherwise u arent missing much.

Love Sex aur Dhoka Movie Preview"
Love Sex aur Dhokha is a film about voyeurism. It is essentially about how we have become a generation of voyeurs and flashers simultaneously. This film is about keyhole. On one side of the keyhole is a guy who is peeping in and on other side, there is a person who is hoping that someone is peeping in, and then its us, who are seeing all this. And it is adding bizarre subtext to our society. On television, newspapers, other media, we are obsessed with the most meaningless trivia of what other people are doing about their life.
The film is a roller coaster ride told through the chaos of the camera that has invaded all our lives – through handy cams filming home movies, security cameras shooting every inch of existence, mobile phones transmitting love messages, sting cameras uncovering uncomfortable truths.
Song from Love Sex Aur Dhoka changed due to controversial lyrics
Love Sex Aur Dhokha's song, Tu Nangi Achchi Lagti Hai, has been changed to Tu Gandi Achchi Lagti Hai on the music album; but is still a part of the film
Dibakar Banerjee's path-breaking film Love Sex Aur Dhokha (LSD), which releases on March 19, has already generated interest with online debates and discussion on its provocative nature and content.
Apart from its many controversial scenes, the film has a steamy sex scene, which is nothing like you've ever seen before in Hindi films. Dibakar who's busy with the postproduction ofthe film is sure the censors won't pass the scene and he soon plans to meet members of the censor board to talk about LSD. He doesn't mind an 'Adult' certificate but he doesn't want any cuts inthe film.
Song wronged?
A source who has watched the film reveals that there is a character in LSD, who comes out with a song titled, Tu Nangi Achchi Lagti Hai in the film. Even though the song is part of the film, in the music CDs the lyrics have been changed to, Tu Gandi Achchi Lagti Hai.
Dibakar confirms, "Yes, we have a song with that title playing during a particular scene. It's an integral and important part of the movie. We have a character that downloads the song on his computer and then plays it over and over. It's a song that has been banned from being played in public and hence, gets sort of a cult following."
The director hopes people will embrace the new genre he has explored with LSD. "It will shock and provoke you in the first five minutes and then you will get absorbed into it. We are living in a digital age where we are captured by circuit cameras, MMS videos etc, throughout the day. It was interesting to approach a subject like this."
Dibakar says he had the story in his mind for the last six years. "I wanted to make it even before Khosla or Oye Lucky. Now I am glad it's out of my system and out there for the people to watch it."
