The dark history only serves to enhance the Broussard Mansions appeal on Halloween. At the decadent, out-of-control party, Maddie and Lily run into their exes, Colin and Dex, while Suzanne parties it up. Good times end, however, when the police bust up the party. After the rest of the guests leave, Angela, Maddie, Lily, Dex, Colin, Suzanne and their friend Jason discover a horrible secret. Their cell phones dont work. The mansion gates are now mysteriously locked. Soon it becomes clear that supernatural forces are at work at the Broussard Mansion, and that there may be more to the tale of Evangeline Broussard than anyone knew.

It turns out that the Broussard Mansion is home to demons that need to possess seven vessels to break free of an ancient curse. One by one the guests fall victim, transforming into hideous creatures. Only Maddie, Colin and Jason remain but can they make it through the night and keep evil forces from spreading into the world?

Of Edward Furlong in that case. And while he still has Charisma, he might be the weak link of this movie. He just doesn't fit into this movie. I can't really explain why, but he doesn't seem to feel comfortable when he is on screen. Which is a shame really, because he could've carried this Remake.

It's a long time since I last saw the Original, which wasn't the greatest Horror movie ever, but still pretty decent (especially for the money it did cost). The Remake does have the money, does have a few good ideas (one of them being of the sexual kind) and does have a killer soundtrack (no pun intended). If that's enough for a Rock'N'Roll experience for you, then ho ahead and watch. If you need more to enjoy a movie, you will be disappointed (not that much gore, not that much story, characters not really likable etc.)



Film 4 frightfest premiere 'Night of the demons' is all over the place as a film. Unfortunately it tries to be a teen comedy and a scary horror. It fails spectacularly at both. The gore despite being brutal is quick and can barely be seen and the scares unoriginal. Everything that happened in the film felt like the director was constantly winking at the audience.

If this film was so self-knowing then why did the characters descend into parody. This film was all over the place. It wanted to be Scream and Friday the 13th. There is the worst exposition you'll ever see when the demons are explained. But I think the director thought he was being funny. I just thought it was stupid. The bad taste was totally misjudged, there were some scenes which were so over-the-top, yet everything else seemed restrained.

Thathwamasi' is about a group of pilgrims' travel from a border village in Kerala to Sabarimala. A police constable, an atheist, who is on duty there, joins them. Unexpected incidents that happen during the journey transform their life forever.

“The film was shot in and around Thiruvananthapuram, Sabarimala and Meenmutty Dam. We did not use lights for the outdoor shots. Some interestingmythological sequences that were shot in the studio form an integral part of the storyline. The film was shot in just 20 days. It is slated for release in December.”

Incidentally, this film also marks the return of director Sunil to mainstream cinema. The director had made popular hits such as ‘Maanathe Kottaram,' ‘Bharanakoodam' and ‘Alancheri Thambrakkal' before turning to spirituality.

During his self-imposed break from films, Vipindas travelled a lot, camera in tow, and has some fascinating frames.

“I have a sample of breathtaking photographs of some important South Indian temples. You must have seen photos of temples like the Madurai Meenakshi temple. Many of those snaps are shot in parts and joined together. The effect is flat. I have used a Wivelux camera that pans 180 degrees; the effect is amazing. I hope to publish them as a book with suitable text.”

For Vipindas, 70, this new film is a fresh start in a world that he dominated in the 80s. “Things have changed – from Satyan to the superstars and the young stars of today. But for a technician like me it is the same - find out what the director wants and do your best.”

After seeing lot of drama behind the scene, director Dinesh Babu is finally successful in releasing his movie School Master released. Late Dr. Vishnuvardhan-Suhasini combo rocks the show. If director had done little more homework on the script, it would have been even more interesting.

Earlier, it was reported that the movie was to shoot a fight sequence. But immediately after the death of Dr. Vishnuvardhan, the director seems to have dropped idea of the shooting and prepared the movie for release to cash in the situation. The movieSchool Master lacks newness and innovative ideas. Dinesh Babu has failed to bring logicality among many sequence.



The movie is all about a father taking revenge against the murderer of his daughter. Some of the illogical sequences in the first half of the movie bore the audience. But the second half is quite interesting, especially climax is very emotional.

Director MD Shridhar has finally come out with his movie Porki after delaying it for Late Dr. Vishnuvardhan's movie. It is a remake of Mahesh Babu-Ileana starrer Telugu movie Pokiri. Although the director has been very honest to the original Telugu movie Pokiri, Challenging star Darshan Tugudeep's action-packed sequences rock the audience.

Like original, the movie Porki has a very thin storyline, which is about an undercover cop who begins to eliminate the underworld by working amongst them. The highlights of the movie are Darshan's energetic performance, Ravivarma and Palani's fights, Sadhu's comedy and V Harikrishna's music and amazing picturisation.

Porki a.k.a. Datta a.k.a. Suryanarayan [Darshan], who is an undercover cop, is a hardcore gangster and sharpshooter. Getting into the underworld as a killer, he goes on wiping out rowdy element one by one. Meanwhile, he comes across a girl (Praneetha), who professes her liking for him. What happens next will form the climax of the story.



Ali Bhai comes to Bangalore only to be arrested by an honest police officer. Once he is free, after blackmailing the inspector, he realises that Dattu is actually an undercover agent of the police and gets his father killed. In the end, Dattu finishes Ali Bhai's gang and also the crooked inspector in a big fight.
Darshan, as usual, is very good in fights. But his new clean-shaven look may not be liked by too many of his fans. Praneetha looks gorgeous and Devaraj fits into the role of the police officer. Avinash, Ashish Vidyarthi and Shobharaj just fill in the gaps.

Hari Krishna's musical compositions are good and so is Krishna Kumar's camera work.

Producer Hansraj may actually have read Enid Blyton and others, once upon a loooong time. “Ku..Ku…” a largely family affair, brings to mind several classics, but only at the beginning. Vicky (Master Vijay) and Vinu (Baby Vanita) are doted on by their parents, who are forced to go to London to solve a business problem. However, they do not reach their destination as their relative, MLA Bhyra (Sagar Nagbhushan) is after their wealth to feed his CM dreams.

The children escape in the nick of time, following their uncle’s advice. Goons dog their heels and brother and sister are separated. How does the boy manage to reunite with his sister and bring the evil MLA to justice is what Ku..Ku… is all about.

The beauty of the film lies in its ability to keep things simple. However, atrocious acting and absence of logic lets it down. Master Vijay is a find and Baby Vanita is confident. Songs undo all that C Dhanapalan’s camera achieves. For a newcomer, this is an average fare but the redeeming factor is that the kids are not made to appear like adults all the time. Except in the tacky number “Ku..Ku…” raising concerns about child “over”use.

The acoustics is a strain on the ear. Those in charge of Kapali must also take note that it is high time the theatre was revived-one of the largest single screen theatres in the city is in worse condition than a BBMP dumpyard.

I have a penchant for films that delve into storylines where the notion of sacrifice is explored via martyrdom or catch-22 type situations of, to kill or not to kill. The idea of a person duck-taping sticks of dynamite to their body is so foreign to North American audiences, that in a way, the lure of such films is how the act psychological manifests itself inside the film's protagonist.



I think back to classics such as Pontecorvo's Battle of Algiers and more recently, Hany Abu-Assad's Paradise Now with today's announcement. Film Movement have strapped themselves to Dror Zahavi'sFor My Father (Sof Shavua B'Tel Aviv ), the picture about possibly altering the destination of one's actions will be set up for an eventual limited theatrical run late in the calender year with their usual cable release quickly right after. The dubbed German trailer below spells out acts I and II, but leaves us guessing in the final act.

For My Father focuses on Terek, a Palestinian forced on a suicide mission in Tel Aviv to redeem his father’s honor, is given a second chance when the fuse on his explosive vest fails to detonate. Forced to spend the weekend in Tel Aviv awaiting its repair, Terek must live amongst the people he was planning to kill. My Name Is Khan Hindi Film Story : My Name Is Khan focuses on the relationship between the Western world and Islam and how that has changed over the past few years. It also describes the journey of one family and how it changes because of 9/11.

The film begins with the child, Rizwan Khan (Tanay Chheda), a Muslim who has Asperger syndrome, growing up with his mother (Zarina Wahab) in the Borivali section of Mumbai. Later as an adult (Shahrukh Khan), Rizwan moves to San Francisco and lives with his brother and sister-in-law. While there, he falls in love with Mandira (Kajol).

After 9/11, Rizwan and Mandira begin to face a number of difficulties which causes them to separate. Rizwan then begins a long journey across the United States to win Mandira back. In the process of his journey, he "inspires optimism and joy in the hearts of the people he encounters by spreading of messages of goodwill wherever he roams."

My Name Is Khan Bollywood Movie Reviews :
Just back from the Mumbai Fox office after watching portions of the final edit of My Name is Khan. Fox guys were really keen whether the $16 million they spent in buying the rights are justified? The answer is a resounding yes. This film is gonna blow away mainstream Hollywood if properly marketed. Shah Rukh Khan is in the role of his lifetime and as Rizwan Khan, he is in his best performance ever. Kajol is at her usual best and the chemistry between the leading pair is something to die for. The climax is the crux of the movie, and the 2nd half is so compelling that people will just stand up and give a standing ovation to the maker, Karan Johar. Shibani Bathija needs to be credited for such an awesome screenplay, and Ravi Chandran's cinematography gives the film an international look.

The theme is tailor made for North America, and as I already mentioned, if marketed properly, this one has potential to gross $20-30 million in North America alone. Having said that, being primarily a love story, it has all the right items to hit the Indian box office. Due to the lead pair coming back after 10 years, the hype in India is inexplicable.

“My Name is Khan” depicts today’s time today & which includes terror attacks & killing of innocent people.
This movie gives the message that all Muslims are not terrorists, & many of them have pure heart.
It is directed by Karan Johar, & the film is based on social issues & appears to you as a story of real life.

The storyline involves Rizvan Khan (Shahrukh Khan) & Mandira (Kajol) in the lead role. In the movie Rizvan goes to San Francisco to live with his sister in law & brother, (Sonya Jehan) & (Jimmy Shergill) respectively. Aagathan Movie Review :

Agathan movie tells the story of retired Major General Hareendra Natha Varma (Sathyaraj) and Gautham Menon (Dileep) who is a software engineer. His father was Mukundan Menon, a bank employee working in Srinagar. His mother was Sujatha and sister Amritha. He lost his members of the family in a terrorist attack. During that period Major Hareendranatha Varma was on duty in Srinagar.

After the incident Gautham decided to leave Srinagar. On his way to Bangalore he met a girl named Shreya (Charmi). After the journey incidentally he met Shreya several times at Bangalore. She was an MBA student. She had an inclination to Gautham. But he was least interested in loving her.

Kedi Telugu Movie Review:

Like a regular tale, the story starts with Ramesh as Rummy (Nagarjuna) who is friend of Janaki since childhood and friendship is changed in one side love by Rummy. Janaki tells him that unless he becomes a big person in the society and a rich man, she will not be ready to marry him. It is taken seriously, andRummy gets into gambling. Very soon he becomes a very healthy person. But then he nails those people who became rich by wrong route and wins them in the gambling. ACP Sekhar (Sayaji) comes to know and does best to catchRummy but does not get success. The story takes turn when Rummy gets into a deal with Chandra (ankur) and at that time Sara (Paula)’s life is saved by him whose sister Nadia (Linda) falls in love with him. There is also Sandhya (Mamatha) who is Rummy’s aide in all his activities.

The audio did not make good sales in the market due to it was quite bad. The movie is released on “Annapurna Studios Banner”. The comedy king of Telugu film industry Dr. Brahmanandam also played a role in Kedi, a crucial role is played by Kelly Dorge in Kedi.

As director Kiran makes his debut with this movie. This movie under the banner of ‘Kamakshi Kala Movies’ has been produced by Siva Prasad. ‘Muddante Cheda’ the hit song of ANR has been remixed in this film. Chinni Charan and Krishna Chaitanya pen the lyrics. The voice for the musical tracks has been landed by Sunidhi Chauhan, Archith, Sonu Kakkar, Rahul Nambiar, Geetha Madhuri, Neha Kakkad, Salim Shahzada, Sandeep Chowta, Tippu singers.

Kedi has obtained its U/A certificate. The movie looks as if it is stimulated by ‘Catch me if you can’ conspire with scenery changed to cars stealing and gambling. In production from first, the film went through a series of name changes; it was named 23 thenRummy! From Rummy to Mayagadu to Mosagadu’, and lastly the producers agreed on the title Kedi.
